NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF KEENE, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Council Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at 100 N. Mockingbird, Keene, Texas on the 29th July, 2010 at which time the following subjects will be discussed to wit:　

1. MAYOR’S REMARKS/PUBLIC FORUM

The City Council invites citizens to speak on any topic; however, unless the item is specifically noted on this agenda, the City Council is required under the Texas Open Meetings Act to limit its response to one of the following: * Responding with a statement of specific factual information or reciting the City’s existing policy on that issue; or * Directing the person making the inquiry to visit with City Staff about the issue. (No Council deliberation is permitted.)

3. REVIEW OF TAX ABATEMENT POLICY FOR THE CITY OF KEENE - DIANA MILLER

8. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT LOCATED AT 201 N. EASTERN STREET, LOT 1A BLOCK 25, JORGE LUIS NEGRETE, OWNER

9. REVIEW OF THE DRINKING WATER QUALITY REPORT AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

10. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE NO. 2010-406 AMENDING CHAPTER 21, SECTION 66, ARTICLE IV, OF THE KEENE CODE OF ORDINANCES, "STOPPING, STANDING, AND PARKING

11. REVIEW BY THE COUNCIL OF REPORTS BY THE WATER, SEWER, POLICE, COURT, CODE ENFORCEMENT, AND FIRE/EMS DEPARTMENTS DETAILING MONTHLY ACTIVITY WITHIN EACH DEPARTMENT. COUNCIL MAY CONSULT WITH DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL, THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR, AND THE CITY ACCOUNTANT REGARDING THE REPORTS

12. EXECUTIVE SESSION -- (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC AS PROVIDED BY TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE) AS AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 551.071(2) OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, THE WORKSHOP, SPECIAL CALLED, OR REGULAR MEETING MAY BE CONVENED INTO CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEEKING CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL ADVICE FROM THE ATTORNEY ON ANY AGENDA ITEM LISTED HEREIN

13. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION FOR POSSIBLE ACTION RESULTING FROM ANY ITEMS POSTED AND LEGALLY DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION
